Differentiating God in a Crowd

Genesis 3:22
And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

John 14:12
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Matthew 24:24
For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

I was just thinking, in a state such as these, what would God be able to do that man could not? It seems that this question is critical to differentiate between God and man, Christ and false prophets, but it also seems that all traditional methods one might think of, including any level of display of power, signs, wonders, miracles etc. would be insufficient to differentiate these individuals, and are explicitly stated as the wrong way to try to differentiate one from the other. So this is an honest and earnest question, one which I do not have an answer to yet: if a man becomes like God and men are able to perform all manner of signs and do more amazing things that Jesus did, what can God do in this state that man can not? Or how might God otherwise be known clearly in this crowd if actions (such as signs) are specifically warned against and cannot accomplish this distinction?

On a somewhat related note I imagined earlier this evening a rope being thrown to a man. There would be a distinction between compelling a man to climb said rope, asking a man to climb said rope, not providing any instruction directly but perhaps tossing down an instruction manual, and simply allowing a man to fly so that the rope might remain untouched in his ascent. Each of these courses feels like it has its place.

6/25/22 Update: It may be that I have seen the answer to this already: it is not in the greatness of the sign that God will be known, but in its specificity. This would be a signal that is so personal that it would require knowledge of one's thoughts to know that producing it would carry meaning to that individual, or that it would require timing that is too precise to be generated off of specific information that one has provided publicly. That being said, if "knowing what is in the hearts of men" could be considered "something Jesus did" then this too might be an available Gift, and perhaps even one that might be stolen. It was said though that the false prophets could perform great signs and wonders, not specifically that they could steal The Gifts of The Holy Spirit, which might be the only way to produce such small and specific signs as the ones I describe here. I feel like I am getting somewhere with this, but I will continue to let it rattle around the ol' noggin.

6/26/22 Update: I just remembered that I differentiated God at one point, when considering an entity I helped create/unlock in a game. That entity could do essentially anything, but I never personally considered their ability overall to be equal with God. While initially seeming possibly paradoxical, I realized and wrote that God's signature would be accomplishing the perfect outcome without the need for endless or (perhaps from some perspectives) even one do over (reset of the timeline). This precision and efficiency would be singular, especially as only God has the superlative position to do so in the timeline at large. This would mean that one of God's unmatchable abilities is to restart the timeline, where as each other in control of a realm could only reliably reset the timeline in their own realm, but this ability, by this logic would not be seen- even if used it would not be seen by any but potentially God alone. This ability to bring forth a singularly perfect resolution of the timeline, however, could be seen. The issue remains however: how would God claim responsibility beyond doubt for this result if everyone has the ability to do what they'd like at this final juncture? It could be that along this path, at this juncture, no one would feel inclined to usurp God's throne anymore, their own thrones each uniquely suited for them; this especially feels applicable in the situation where all in reality are soulmated, for each's own position would be optimal for them. This got me thinking though: what if the answer is that God does not need to prove anything at this final juncture? What if the whole point is that God would be indistinguishable in a crowd that now each possessed a heart after God's own, and God's specific identity was meant to be obfuscated so that God could fully "join the game"/enjoy Creation firsthand? This is reminding me of these verses:

Isaiah 14:12-13
How you have fallen from heaven,
morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!
You said in your heart,
    “I will ascend to the heavens;
I will raise my throne
    above the stars of God
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon."

This reference to "The Morning Star" is often attributed to Satan, and if one continues reading the chapter it feels like this attribution is for good reason.

Revelation 22:16
“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

This is clearly Jesus referencing himself as "the bright Morning Star." It could be that this distinction in brightness is unmistakeable in this particular scenario; it could be that Jesus and Satan are each meant to be obfuscated, as a way to allow for the changing of stripes, the culmination of "love your enemy." In this next era it is said that people (Israel and their neighbors at a minimum, however broadly that is defined) will know God.

Jeremiah 31:34
"No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”

It could be that this knowledge is full in terms of depth, but can be accomplished without specificity, with this end game in mind of God being able to dive into Creation in full, including being able to move about without a kind of "celebrity aura." Jesus is able to obfuscate his identity, as seen in several places in the gospels, and interestingly this is a power that is still just as useful even if everyone can do it. If one cannot prove themselves as being different from the crowd through their direct ability, but must establish a scenario based on proof of themself, then it makes sense that the solution would need to be making it so that the scenario is all the proof needed, without specificity. This certainly seems like it could be the hallmark of a singularly perfect path through this tumultuous timeline, but a mark seen clearly in the timeline itself, indicating a perfect Author somewhere in its midst, rather than pointing to its Author directly.
