Forgiveness, Frequency Alignment, Agreement

I just considered an interesting scenario:

Jesus' primary strength seems to come from being without sin, and quoting scripture. If sin is a separation from God, then being without sin would be a resonance with God. In a resonant position, if one uses God's own words, one would be speaking with God in a language common between them, on a frequency they both share. From this position it seems agreement would be a simple thing to reach, and in agreement with God things are (made) real. If one uses the seeds of scripture and the foundation Jesus laid to build a tree and a structure that will fit and is uniquely their own, I see no reason why God would not agree with this structure. At such a point of agreement, such a structure is real, in the realm common between one and God, which might be the universe, and might be the sum of all Creation.

It feels like Jesus did no more and no less than this- quoting scripture and being sinless. Once the foundation of scripture had been established in Jesus' words, the parables Jesus spoke also carried weight, as though healthy sprouts blooming from well established roots. Presumably if Jesus sinned, Jesus would not be a perfect priest/liaison with God, and his words would not carry weight. Essentially he would not have been in a position to add to scripture- giving new commandments, and adding parables to the base structure- if he sinned from both to the cross. So it is because Jesus was without sin, and referenced scriptures, that Jesus' words carried power.

Now there are references in the Old Testament regarding being clean and unclean, and atonement for sin, but the question remains, would these things also be forgiveness of sin? It may be that in referencing forgiveness Jesus spoke of something unseen on earth. He spoke not of washing a shirt clean, but of making a shirt new. From a human perspective it is hard to picture a timeless point of view, but if forgiveness is in fact making one as if they had no sin, there would be no relevant past leading to that juncture, from God's perspective (A snapshot in a way, without causality). Imagine a scenario where two shirts were revealed to you in a closed environment. You were told that one was new, and the other had been used but was then made new. Would there be any way to determine in that scenario which was which? Without the human tendency to keep records, in this case without an individual history of each shirt (in the case of sin doing something less complete than forgiveness), you would have no way to determine which shirt was which. If then asked which shirt was the "new" shirt, the most applicable answer would be both.

I have wondered for some time how The Son of God would claim correctly that we would be called children of God and that we would do greater things than he did, but also that his role would be unique and amazing forever. This seemed a hard, almost paradoxical, logical position to reconcile, as Jesus would necessary be on a pedestal, but one he himself indicated we would join him on, in terms of height anyway. This understanding into the nature of forgiveness and the perspective of God, however, clarifies this point for me. Jesus needed to remain sinless from birth in order to be sinless at the cross. This is a nearly impossible path, perhaps impossible for one without the inborn knowledge of God, without having been "begotten." However, once this path has been walked, once the key to unlock the gates of sin has been forged, another individual finding themselves on the path of being sinless is actually far more simple, because one can be forgiven here on Earth. In this way we, in a state of being forgiven, are the shirt made new, indistinguishable from the shirt that has always been new (an equivalency not available at the time of Jesus).

While in this sinless state, one would be on the same frequency with God, without separation between themselves and God. At this juncture, it would make sense that one could quote scripture in the same way that Jesus did, and from this position of shared language build a structure. I believe that with a sound structure built in this state, one where the heart of the one and the heart of God are aligned, agreement is simple. In this state faith manifests into real things, in precisely the same way knowledge did for Jesus. For this reason Jesus would need another operating in faith to fulfill his promises; while being in possession of the full knowledge of God, faith in God is an impossibility, as I have referenced previously in https://songoflovepiecesofeight.blogspot.com/2020/11/belief-space-between-knowledge-and.html.

While Jesus had the Old Testament to work with, Jesus provided parables to work with, adding these moldable structures to scripture, so that here and now we have more material to interpret and shape into wonderous structures, while still on a/the solid foundation.  It seems this is why Jesus said we would do greater things than he did, because he knew he would be laying this groundwork for us to do greater things by providing more flexible material than he had to accomplish them, once the depth and breadth of forgiveness was understood. Jesus accomplished the nearly impossible- walking a tightrope with little (yet unthwartable) equipment- so that we, with essentially unlimited access to forgiveness, could arrive like children on fertile ground with seeds, a trowel, a hose with running water, and an umbrella for shade with a nice chair under it to rest when we are weary. For this reason Jesus' role in this equation will forever remain unique and honored, but we too will be children of God as promised. The Son of God will have brothers and sisters when this fire is kindled, when this garden is in bloom, when it is time for the harvest.
