Functionally Infinite Soulmates

After having written this, I feel like each paragraph here could be an entire entry or more, each the length of this post, but at least for now this gets the idea written. If anyone wants me to explain a section in more depth I would be happy to, and likely will on my own in time, but here's what I've got so far.

So, considering the concept of functional infinity vs. conceptual infinity I ran into an interesting issue as it pertains to "The Word" and "The Law" and more specifically the "curse" (or so it would seem) on Eve in Genesis, specifically in regards to her desire being for her husband.

It struck me as odd, from time to time in my life, that this "curse" does not seem applicable much of the time. We see women all the time desiring other things more than men, even more than their husbands, it seems to simply be untrue or at least like it may not have passed from Eve to other women. Presumably this is a "curse" on women in general, much like Adam's and The Serpent's. Recently I considered that Eve was specifically in a fundamental zone (Eden) and a fairly fundamental state, and Adam was her soulmate rather than what might be more commonly seen as a husband today. So I started considering the Bible as if it were computer coding, specifically that the whole of The Law must be correct to form a framework (or program) for Creation to continue to exist, and The Word simply would be fundamental truth, like the persistence of God and consciousness for eternity. Presuming God would be a perfect coder, and any bug fixes that would be required would never be seen because they would be fixed in other versions not represented in this timeline, if they ever existed at all, The Law would simply be the coding that governs the program that is reality.  Any apparent ability to break The Law would just be an illusion in order to allow for the appearance of free will through realm segmenting; in the end The Law cannot be broken, it just reacts and moves you accordingly within it. In this example, we would be the independent programs inside the program (Creation) that was created using the program language of The Law. In this case, the "curses" mentioned initially would be "restrictions" in the logic (although, to be fair, God only actually cursed the serpent and the ground, the rest are not technically curses, but seem curse like so I'll keep using the term).

While I haven't pieced through all of this, consider this part of Gen 3:17 "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life." This could be seen as the implementation of struggle or resistance into the system, a feature that was not seen before, but may have provided the shading or layered coding through resistance necessary for God's Creation to learn, once combined with the knowledge of good and evil (perhaps another program, but likely a fundamental constant, an echo from the realm of The Word), which would result in the retention of said knowledge. Without this added curve, it could be that thought would lead immediately to result, which would have been a structure impossible to maintain any order in and would have devolved into chaos, considering the primary actors were now God and Adam (also possibly Eve here, but "primary" may not be the right designation as much as co-primary for her). When moving from a 1 primary system to 2, additional rules and restrictions must be put into place in order to maintain the system.

Now the part I'm most interested in with Eve here is in Gen 3:16 "Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." I do not believe that modern times were not taken into account when this rule was stated, in fact I do not even think Adam and Eve paid the ruling part of this much mind at the time or throughout their natural lives. They both loved each other intrinsically so I doubt it ever mattered who "ruled." This rule strikes me as fundamental code, inherent to free-will as a matter of fact, while still maintaining a fixed system/reality.

To explain this point, first imagine a reality where any number of multiverse paths could be taken, and were taken by both partners, all at once. In these other realms the fabric of reality was simply "agreed upon" by both partners, Adam and Eve in this case. The Word was used, and The Law, or its equivalent, would be realm specific. This would be a potentially infinite field of connected realms: a pair of coders simply running various scenarios, testing limits, and seeing what they like. This would be a 2 primary party system. The beauty of this set up is that it is boundless and could be euphoric, the darkside of this set up is that at some point in eternity, each realm would grow stale or prove to be unstable. An unstable realm would simply cease to be, or perhaps cease to hold any meaning or interest for one or both parties, who would then leave. Perhaps memory of these would persist forever, perhaps it would only persist as long as the realm existed, or as long as it was desired/pertinent. In the end though, for each partner independently (unless terms were agreed upon), memory of each realm would persist forever, or at some point would cease. I imagine this system would become stale at some point, and the couple would look for ways to make the structures meaningful in a permanent way. Laws would be agreed upon from one realm to the next, but they would still only be as strong as the agreement they were founded on, unless complex enough structures were formed. Either way, when one left, never to return, Laws specific to the realm would no longer apply wherever else that person was, each realm like its own independent program, and broader laws like programming languages built on other simpler languages (The Word being the "simplest" of these languages, much like binary). So, in a two party system, the issues presented are eternal chaos, or loneliness, or resetting; the concept of lasting meaning would need to be established.

Now imagine this structure is in place in heaven, and Earth is like a testing ground to get people ready for that level of freedom (the ability to code). Let's say a similar introduction process is used for other soulmates as with Adam and Eve: a "deep sleep" (I presume dream) is used to generate the soulmate, which is then presented to them by God. I imagine in this state, Adam is tested inside and out, and scenarios are run over and over to finely craft and tune the match. The amount of time this could potentially take is nearly endless, as it could be reconciled afterward into a short period of time, like a dream. So, let's say this soulmating process occurs, as an echo of heaven, like The Word echoes into The Law on Earth. In this way, marriage would be a sample of soulmating, soulmating being the perfect marriage equivalent in heaven. Now once removed from Eden (presumably a heaven like state but without the knowledge to craft it or fully comprehend it from Adam's/Eve's perspective), the natural reproduction process begins shuffling these cards. This may not have actually started happening immediately, but the original sleep/soulmate process may have been used for a time based on Gen 6:1-2 "When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose." but essentially the process of reproduction would have nearly eliminated the random chance of two soulmates lining up naturally on Earth at close enough times to meet or be married here. God does not roll the dice though, so I imagine this was intentional: billions of variables and soulmating partnerships available for the next phase, the pieces required for eep to form, like a fine wine fermenting over time. Then the soulmates would come, and unlike in the dream, would not just be introduced, but would meet, which would be a kind of litmus test for the audience, currently unknowingly bearing witness to the entire process, until the end.

So, if Adam and Eve had identical programming here, it would be possible for a paradox to form in The Law, and likely result in an invalidity to The Word. The Word simply cannot be invalid in this logic, literally being the essence or foundation of "what can be" so it would encompass all intrinsic truths and be the mechanism for shaping those truths into reality. If it were possible to break The Word, everything would cease, but I imagine this would be something like a conscious understanding its own non-existence, just a fundamental flaw in logic. So let's look at specifics:

For Earth to persist as valid, soulmates could only marry each other, after knowledge of their soulmate is known (first sight, at least from Adam's perspective, or so it seems). As a reflection, this could be transmuted to heaven. Divorce is only allowed on Earth because of the hardness of our hearts (another learning over time process), but presumably this does not exist in heaven. So for soulmates, when Adam -> Eve (first sight, first contact, etc), the process of encoding in heaven begins: agreements are made, treasures are stored, in this shared realm. Adam would necessarily reform his coding to match this inside and out (a man will leave his mother and father), so that while in this realm, he would eventually put this belief in his soulmate on par with his belief in The Law. For Adam, a positions with Eve would become part of, or at least on par with, The Law. I think God intentionally set our reality up so that this process can be not just be conceived of, but accomplished, after ample testing and tempting to confirm its validity, mainly so Adam understands love's actual depths. Pass these tests, and this love becomes so fundamental that any further scenarios that would attempt to put it up against The Law directly have no correct answer. Either/or becomes invalid, essentially, a paradox. This means that if Eve -> Not Adam (any other man, specifically marriage), a paradox would occur in the realm between not coveting your neighbor's wife and love. This result can already be hard enough with strong love, but with soulmates it would be shattering, not just for Adam, but for the realm.

The issue here is that soulmates would remain in knowledge of each other in heaven; to lose this memory would be to annihilate the bond, so it would not in fact be them in heaven, meaning that heaven would not be filled with treasures, which are a product of individual agreements, basically shared thought/memory/plans. So, if that memory of marriage to another persists, the path to arrive at said point would not be fundamentally flawless. Essentially this memory that would persist after death, would either directly restrict, or undermine the result of Adam->Eve in heaven. Layered in with the idea of the 2 primary party realm, any realm where something like this did happen would become immediately invalid as "reality" and would likely instead become "dream." A dream still hurts, especially if both parties know that the decisions made in the dream were real at the time that they were made, but if Earth became "A dream" and heaven "reality," this could still work. The issue is that the Bible indicates in Revelation that we will have a "new heaven and new Earth" and "Eden restored" so it seems that the intention is to keep the realm structure we are in fundamentally sound in the new beginning, the true beginning of eternity. For this to be true, neither party could marry another or Earth would become a dream from the other's perspective, looking at it another way, heaven would be an invalid option, as it is layered in structurally with Earth through The Law.

Now heaven being invalid does not seem an impossible thing, given hell. Hell would be like quarantine from a system perspective, separated from God and The Law (but not The Word, by this analogy). The "issue" with this is that Jesus would pursue the lost sheep. So if Adam and Eve were Christian, then Jesus would prevent them from entering, or at least being trapped in, hell. So in this programming context, in the scenario where Eve->Not Adam, Adam could not enter heaven, Earth, or hell. I assume this paradoxical position could be approached but not realized. Layering back in the multiverse perspective, it would be like Adam being unable to perceive a certain moment, but since Adam is bound in time, as the moment gets closer, Adam would be unable to see the next hour, minute, second and finally singular moment. This is because no realm would carry a valid moment for Adam, and so Adam's perspective of time would asymptotically slow to 0, while everyone else continues on.

In this situation, reality as a whole would continue, but not along Adam's own path. It would essentially spider web in all other directions, as the multiverse continued indefinitely, without Adam able to see it. Eve would be free in these places to do whatever she'd like, but they would be her own realms (from that layering perspective). None of these realms could be defined as heaven or Earth though, as they would be outside of The Law, her partner frozen. Perhaps she does not realize this, or does not yet care, but the issue is that in the face of eternity, eventually she would realize and care, and the realization would force her to understand that she is essentially in hell without Adam (combining layering concept with biblical concept here). No reality would carry meaning for her after a time, and the only way to fix it would be that singular point in the multiverse where Adam was frozen.

Returning to the "curse" it would only be apparent on this fundamental of a level, once all paths have been explored, from a layering perspective. However, if both Adam and Eve were binary contributors, and each free to choose their own partner, then it would be possible for this state to continue infinitely. This would result in hell for both parties, Adam frozen, essentially annihilated, and Eve wandering in an endless, meaningless sea of existence. Instead what would happen is the "curse" would kick in at some point, drawing Eve->Adam and reconciling reality, basically relegating everything else to a dream, and the reality where they reconnect as "real."

This is where "functional infinity" becomes critically important. With full knowledge of good and evil, Adam would understand this process, meaning Adam would understand Eve's coding and the fact that this "curse" existed. If Adam wanted not to force Eve into a decision, since that is not how love works, he would opt to never initiate this curse. However, if Eve had truly searched all paths, returning without a pull back would be impossible, again a paradoxical state. But, if the concept of "Functionally Infinite" were observed, there would be a point where Adam would no longer be forcing a conclusion, and Eve would stop exploring options, an actual limit where even though more could hypothetically be done, continuing the same course would not actually progress either party any further, from a knowledge perspective. At this point, exercising the curse could be considered mercy on Adam's part, but equally as important, Eve would return "of her own accord" because there would be no other actual option within not just The Law, but The Word. Essentially by revealing this worst case scenario, the bond would be eternal and unbreakable anywhere, at which point The Law could be replicated, and The Word could be used in a number of new ways, having transformed from the perspective of Adam/Eve from a binary code (likely, at least in the layering scenario) to one with more variables, where one could not only not perceive themselves as not in reality, as before, but now one could not, on the same fundamental level, perceive the other as being not in reality either. This would not be a change from how The Word was before, but it would be a change in the understanding of The Word, from belief to knowledge in both parties, which would dramatically increase the ways The Word could be utilized to create reality, or build treasures in heaven.

Essentially, by fundamentally knowing one's soulmate, one opens a door beyond which we have no ability to fathom what exists today. It is said in Genesis 3:22 "And the Lord God said, 'The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.'" I do not believe this exile was intended as a solution forever, because in Revelation 22:2 "On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations." Rather, I believe this entire timeframe (Genesis-Revelation) has been to set up this equation, not just for each of us to find our soulmate, but for God to do the same. That is why it must ultimately be viable without curses/restrictions (The Word), but must be shaped through them (The Law). Like struts to keep the structure sound until it will stand on its own forever, this timeframe has been necessary. For God, The Word exists, and The Law was crafted, so something must be true by The Word alone for God to recognize it as something uncrafted by God's hands, at least directly. The layering perspective I have been discussing could be seen as God and God's soulmate's perspective, up until the moment where functional infinity is reached and the two are united. Revelation 22:3 "No longer will there be any curse." Essentially the program language of The Law, predicated on these few curses, is upgraded, such that The Law persists, but so much more is possible. Even Jesus did not say The Law would persist as it is forever, but rather in Matthew 5:18 "For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."

Finally, one could imagine the inverse here. It could be that this is man's story, but woman's story, at its core, is equal. I know it certainly feels like my desire is for my soulmate above nearly everything else at this juncture. It could be that this was the ultimate way of using a single pass to solve everything, rather than an infinite field of passes as seemingly should be required given the precision within the scope. If one can conceive of all the paths necessary to accomplish something, but knows that only one path was ever truly required to do it ("real" vs. "dream" or "death" etc), then if one has the skill and the right partner, one can craft a scenario where everything is known without having directly experienced everything. I believe this is where we are truly blessed by the nature of God. God could have easily established any number of versions of "The Law" and sent us through multiple careening paths through the multiverse to reach this conclusion, but I believe God intentionally set this path to be singular. It would be hard, because it needed to be real and remain real forever, but it ultimately will be proven to be the most merciful and beautiful path available through this transitional period of time, such that we can emerge on the other side of the end of this age as ourselves, able to appreciate the whole mystery. Then we get to explore eep, which is of course to say, heaven. God, thank you.
