Two Women
The two unique mentions of the creation of man and woman led me recently to an interesting realization:
The first story is in Genesis 1:27 "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."
This is not of Adam and his first wife, but it is also not the creation of Eve. If we look at Genesis 5:2 "Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created"
then this verse, taken literally, means that they were both Adam. Comparing this to modern genetic understanding, it could be seen as Y and X chromosomes.
Examined from a spiritual perspective, this means that every man has a woman with him at all times, a kind of mirror image of his own reality. I once said, in regards to Genesis 1:1-2 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters." that God intentionally created two places, and then proceeded to fill in one of them, the earth, leaving heaven formless and empty in the reader's mind. This creates a zone that the reader will naturally fill in with their expectation, as more information is revealed. The same is done here for this first woman, but the incision is even more subtle, such that it can and has been largely ignored as a duplicated record of the same event. By doing this, it is an even more narrowly focused subsection of the subconscious mind that fills this space in; for most this topic is never even brought to conscious conversation, unlike heaven which is often openly discussed in such circles. The result is that many of those who do theorize of this first woman fill the halls with slander and demonification, unwittingly doing this to their own selves. It is a glass dimly lit, recording from the inside everything that a man does in this life. Considering biology once more, this particular void could be seen as the labels we put on our own daughters, current or future.
Also consider that the title for God changes to LORD God sharply between Genesis 2:3 and Genesis 2:4. In fact the only thing God (no title) did in Genesis 2 is rest (and bless the Sabbath, the day of rest). This title change is a sharper transition than most people seem to give credit to, and it corresponds to exactly when the second creation of woman begins. It is as if God presented a different face to Adam when he was with Eve (which was from then on), as the LORD God, perhaps while the title-less God remained resting. It never said that God stopped resting, and there are a number of references to "God's rest" throughout scripture. It would make the rest of Creation make more sense as the earth seemed to be filled already when Adam and Eve left the garden (possibly representing God's dream vs. the LORD God's action). Since time is not something that restricts God, this entire timeline could be filled in simultaneously, or playing out by the same entity, without breaking any of the laws presented. This would mean we are both experiencing a tangible reality and God's dream simultaneously, the ramifications of which are yet to be fully revealed.
So, what then is the difference between heaven in Genesis and the "kingdom of heaven" often referenced by Jesus? Personally I feel no kingdom would be complete without a queen (also there is a princess there, based on how this version of the story goes!), so it seems like Jesus was subtly teaching us how to fill in this kingdom (note by adding the reference to a king and, to me, a queen) by bringing the topic of the first woman slightly more into focus, even if not bringing it to the surface. So now people discuss and consider the kingdom of heaven as well as heaven, not consciously recognizing that there is a difference, despite saying the words themselves. In my mind, this is woman scooching a bit closer to the surface and to my side (and each of ours, in turn).
Finally consider the woman and the flour: Matthew 13:33 "Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened."
Genetically I have heard that there are three distinct Y chromosomes in all mankind, as they do not get edited through sexual reproduction, simply copied. It is written in Genesis 7:13 "On that day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark." Perhaps at this time, genetics were much more fluid and three sons may have had three different Y chromosomes between them. Genetically speaking, the 4th Y chromosome may have been held exclusively by Jesus, so 3 chromosomes (measures) have been kneaded throughout the whole of the kingdom of heaven, and the 4th was set aside, likely yet to be utilized. This could also be hinted at in Old Testament rituals of using unleavened bread as a sacrifice for God and eaten at most holidays, with the exception of in Leviticus 7:13 "Along with their fellowship offering of *thanksgiving* they are to present an offering with thick loaves of bread made with yeast."
